Penn Yan Public Library

A nonprofit organization

Since 1895, Penn Yan Public Library has served the information and entertainment needs of the people of Penn Yan and Yates County. Thousands of patrons of all ages enjoy hundreds of programs a year, either in our historic Carnegie building, or at dozens of offsite locations throughout our community. Program highlights include an annual Books & Bikes Fest, used book and media sale, author visits, movie screenings, storytimes, computer and Internet classes, and more. We are funded by the taxpayers of the Penn Yan Central School District and also seek grants and donations to supplement those funds. All library programs and services are free of charge and open to the public.
