Since 2019, FLX Gives has grown from a simple idea into a region-wide movement, and 2025 was another incredible leap forward. This year, donors across the Finger Lakes showed up stronger than ever to help nonprofits expand their missions and reach more neighbors in need.
FLX Gives is a 24-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and the causes they care about. What began as a way to help local people give wisely has evolved into a broad culture of community-wide generosity—one that has already driven over $1 million in support for nonprofits across the region.
Each year, this one-day event builds awareness, deepens connections, and strengthens the capacity of organizations doing essential work. During FLX Gives 2025, everyone had the opportunity to be a philanthropist, and every dollar made a meaningful difference.

Each November during National Philanthropy Week, individuals come together to support local nonprofits by making a gift online at flxgives.org. FLX Gives benefits 501(c)(3) public charities serving the residents of Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Yates counties.
