Who We Are

Since 1989, Chemung County Habitat for Humanity has brought people together to build homes, communities, and hope. As a locally funded affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, we help hardworking families achieve safe, affordable homeownership through partnership, volunteerism, and faith in action. More than 45 families have found stability and strength through our program—but the need for affordable housing in Chemung County remains great.  We welcome everyone to join us in building a stronger, more hopeful future for our community—because everyone deserves a place to call home.
