Help Fill Thanksgiving Tables Across Our Community

Thanksgiving is a time to gather around the table with family and friends, share a meal, and give thanks for life's blessings. But for many of our neighbors facing food insecurity, putting a holiday meal on the table can be a significant challenge.

This FLXGives, you're invited to help make Thanksgiving brighter for local families, individuals, and seniors. Together, we can ensure that our neighbors enjoy a warm, nourishing holiday meal and the comfort of knowing their community cares.

Your gift will support Corning Community Food Pantry's annual Thanksgiving Groceries Distribution. Families will receive enough food to prepare a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings, while individuals and seniors will receive ingredients for a delicious roasted chicken meal, with enough for leftovers.

Every donation makes a difference. Whether you give $10, $50, or $500, your generosity helps provide food, hope, and encouragement to those who need it most.

Who We Are

Since 1973, Corning Community Food Pantry has been serving our neighbors in need with dignity, compassion, and respect. The people who come through our doors face a wide range of challenges, including job loss, illness, disability, family transitions, and the rising cost of everyday essentials.

Our dedicated all-volunteer team provides nutritious groceries to help individuals and families through difficult times. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are able to offer fresh produce, dairy products, eggs, meat, fish, and other healthy foods, along with pantry staples.

Each year, we distribute approximately 140 tons of food to thousands of people throughout our community. But what we provide goes beyond groceries. We strive to create a welcoming environment where every person is treated with kindness, understanding, and dignity.

In addition to food assistance, we help meet other basic needs by providing items such as diapers, personal care products, laundry detergent, dish soap, and educational resources, including recipes and information about additional food assistance programs and community services.

Because Corning Community Food Pantry is entirely volunteer-run, 90 cents of every donated dollar goes directly toward food purchases. Through our partnerships and purchasing power, a $5 donation can provide approximately $28 worth of groceries.
