Corning Public Art Inc

Corning Public Art was created in the fall of 2024 and achieved 501(c)(3) status in June of 2025.  We are very new, very enthusiastic, and very passionate about public art, and about our small, vibrant city in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.

We are here to help bring education, awareness, and attachment of Public Art in Corning, NY through acquiring, maintaining, and sponsoring public art, and through storytelling, collaboration, unique art happenings, and supporting community traditions.  We are art without walls, art for all, art as intervention, art as a mode to improving quality of life.

Public art can relate to the history of the place and its people.  It can be temporary or permanent, murals, sculpture, infrastructure as art, parts of architectural or landscape architectural projects, community projects, and performances.
