Chemung Valley Montessori School

Celebrating over 50 years of educational excellence, the Chemung Valley Montessori School is a non-profit organization offering personalized education to students from ages 2 through 6th grade, using methods pioneered by Dr. Maria Montessori. At CVMS, students participate in multi-age classrooms enabling them to learn from their peers. Our Montessori-trained teachers gain a deep understanding of each student's individual strengths working with them over a three-year period, cultivating independent, self-motivated, curious lifetime learners.

Our mission is to nurture individual potential, a passion for lifelong learning, and a sense of global community, inspired by the Montessori philosophy. We believe in promoting a positive and collaborative community, and we are dedicated to living out our mission within the school.
