E J Cottrell Memorial Library

E. J. Cottrell Memorial Library is the little library in Atlanta, NY where our community gathers.  At any point in the day you may walk in to find babies crawling around at sensory hour, or seniors drinking coffee while putting together the last few pieces of a puzzle, or students researching a topic on the public computers, and kids gathered around the latest adventure novel.  From line dancing to memorial services, movie nights to puzzle competitions, our little library is our community center.  

For the past year renovations have been made to convert an attached storage area into a community room.  The purpose of this room will be to hold all of the afore mentioned events, in a space where library shelves will not need to be rearranged.  Once this room is finished, we will have a dedicated space for the library books, shelves, computers, and other resources while also having a dedicated space for meetings, parties and other gatherings.  

The community room is so close to being finished! Would you donate to this great cause for our little town? And then come and see it!  We'd love to give you a tour of the progress and let you see how close we are to being able to open the room for public use!
