Please consider donating to Rosie's HEART fund. Rosie's HEART offers grants to families and therapists to help children and young people who are living with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to help these individuals in our community receive the therapies and medical care they need to grow, thrive, and reach their fullest potential. 

In just over one year since beginning this fund, Rosie’s HEART has awarded grants to thirteen recipients and we continue to see increased interest as word has spread. Rosie's HEART has helped to cover the cost of essential items and services that are all too often denied by insurance providers. We also help to pay for out of pocket expenses associated with complex medical care. 

So far this year, our monetary grants have provided the following:  diagnostic assessments for autism, travel expenses to and from outpatient therapy, sensory therapeutic tools, a gait trainer, as well as assistive home equipment and communication technology tools.

Who Is Eligible?	Types Of Expenses We Support
Individuals living in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and/or Yates counties. Parents or guardians of youths aged up to 21 with developmental disabilities. Registered nonprofit organizations or community-based organizations, which may include schools.	Therapy or teletherapy sessions not covered by insurance, including copays and other out-of-pocket expenses. Transportation assistance to appointments. Technology, software programs, at-home therapy tools, or other educational resources. Social skills camps like swimming or equine activities. Health and safety equipment. Educational workshops or continuing education
