Career Development Council's goal is to present the world of work to students.

Whether students are heading directly into the workforce or first attending college, we create experiences and connections that develop workforce awareness and readiness for a wide range of career options with a strong focus on STEM careers and the opportunities right here in our region.

Ultimately, students are better able to say "I am career ready!"

We are an educational nonprofit, established in 1975, by business and school leaders, who decided to address workforce development together. We connect the worlds of business and education.  Today we work with more than 20 school systems each year in the Southern Finger Lakes region.

Career Development Council shifts between in-person programming and virtual programming, striving to continue the long-standing tradition of linking today's students with tomorrow's careers.

Your gift empowers Career Development Council to adapt to an ever-changing world and offer relevant, positive impact, high quality career awareness/exploration opportunities, both in-person and virtual, to our schools and students.
