Corning Comfort Care, Inc. dba Bampa's House

Bampa’s House is a nonprofit comfort care home in Corning, New York, created to offer terminally ill individuals a safe, peaceful, and home-like place to spend their final days when care at home is not possible. With space for two residents at a time, Bampa’s House provides around-the-clock support from staff and volunteers, coordinated hospice care, private rooms and bathrooms, welcoming family spaces, and an environment centered on dignity, comfort, and respect. Families and friends are encouraged to be present without set visiting hours, allowing loved ones to focus on meaningful time together in a setting designed to feel calm, personal, and supportive. As a community-based organization, Bampa’s House does not charge residents for their stay and relies on charitable donations, grants, volunteers, and in-kind support to continue serving families across the greater tri-county area. Contributions help sustain this important local resource so that people nearing the end of life, and the families and friends who love them, can receive compassionate care surrounded by peace, connection, and community.
