For over 40 years, the Corning Children’s Center has proudly set the standard in early care and education. This year, we are excited to respond to the growing need for childcare in our community by opening a second location. This expansion will allow us to welcome an additional 168 children, raising our total capacity to over 300.
At the Corning Children’s Center, we have cultivated a warm, inclusive, creative, and supportive community. Our trained staff guide children through a learn-through-play curriculum, preparing them for their next developmental milestones. With our sliding-fee scale and assistance programs, families of all means, especially those facing unexpected financial challenges, can join this trusted community. Our new facility will build on this legacy, providing another safe space for many more children to learn and thrive.
We invite you to be a part of our vision to create a nurturing, educational environment. Your support can enrich the lives of our town’s youngest residents and ensure that more families have access to high-quality, affordable care. Currently, tuition covers only 65% of our operating costs, and we must raise the remaining 35% through donations, grants, and fundraising events.
While donations will go to supporting a variety of things for the Center, some ways your donation may make a meaningful impact would be:
1. Enhancing Educational Programs: Expand our curriculum, offering children more opportunities to explore and learn through play.

Established in 1980 to serve families throughout the greater Corning area, Corning Children’s Center aims to set the standard in early care and education by inspiring learners, leaders, and dreamers. We provide high quality care and education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 6 weeks to 5 years). Our Center has a strong sense of community, and your child will learn and grow within an environment that is positive, diverse, creative, stimulating, and caring — one that recognizes and appreciates the uniqueness of each child.
