📚 Dundee Library: Room for More 📚

More work. More creativity. More possibilities.

This FLX Gives, we're making room for more at the Dundee Library and we need YOUR help!

Our library is more than a place to find a good book. It's a place to work, study, create, collaborate, learn, and bring ideas to life. But as our community's needs continue to grow, we're finding that we need to make better use of the space we already have.

That's why this year's 24-Hour Fundraising Blitz is focused on creating better work areas throughout the library.

💥 What will your donation help create? 💥

🧑‍💻 A Private Work & Study Room

We're transforming an underused storage closet into a small, independent workspace where patrons can work, study, meet, or simply have a quiet place to focus.

Your support will help us add a windowed door, desk and chair, and welcoming touches to turn this overlooked space into something our community can actually use.

A More Organized Circulation Area

The circulation desk upstairs has some much-needed upgrades to be made in order to better organize materials and make use of the space. We plan to turn the display shelves into a storage cabinet while also adding a proper work shelf and cabinetry below it. This will allow our holds process to become smoother, take up less space and simply look cleaner when patrons approach the desk.

🛠️ A Better Makerspace

Our Makerspace gives patrons access to creative tools including our 3D printer, Cricut, laser engraver, and other hands-on activities—but great projects need room to happen!

We're raising funds for a flexible work surface and additional seating, so patrons have more room to spread out, work on projects, and create.

🎯 OUR GOAL: $2,500

Every donation helps us create more room for the people who use our library.

Whether it's $5, $25, $100, or $500, your gift helps turn underused space into something useful, welcoming, and full of possibility.

📆 WHEN: November 15 at 6PM until November 16 at 6PM | 24 Hours Only!

More space to work.
More room to create.
More possibilities for our community.

Let's make room for what's next at the Dundee Library!
