Scio Memorial Library

The library started in 1906, moving to a new location in 2005. We have grown with our community and will continue to grow to support its needs and aspirations. We are excited to be given this opportunity to share our little library with you.

In 1905 a group of Scio Citizens who were interested in establishing a free library for the town formed a committee and drew up a constitution for a library association. A temporary Board of Directors was formed on January 22, 1906. Since then we have added many books, ebook, audiobooks, dvd, various books in different forms to serve our community.

Recently we have upgraded all of our public computers, adding a smart board and telehealth machine to serve the community. We are happy to partner with other local organizations to create lasting memories for everyone.
