The Neighborhood Transformation Center (NTC) is a community hub in downtown Elmira dedicated to empowering individuals and families by meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs. Guided by our mission—to be a home for transformation where all people can find support and connection—NTC provides inclusive, barrier-free programs that strengthen both individuals and the broader community.
In 2025, NTC expanded its reach and impact through core services such as free community meals, parenting education, clothing and laundry assistance, and hygiene product distribution.
New initiatives like the One Less Worry Closet (free feminine hygiene products), free health screenings in collaboration with LECOM, Overdose Awareness Day, foster dignity, connection, and wellness for our neighbors.
