CareFirstNY has been serving our community for over 40 years, affirming life through extraordinary, compassionate support and care. Our team has held the hands of thousands of people on hospice care, along with their family members and loved ones. 

Supporting every patient and their family members is our highest priority and greatest joy. 

As you can imagine, we go through a lot of medical supplies. From syringes and mouth swabs to hand sanitizer and wound dressings, the CareFirstNY team provides our patients with the things they need to feel as comfortable and as cared for as possible.

Who We Are

CareFirst is a nonprofit organization that provides complete hospice, palliative care, grief services and caregiver support to residents of Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties of New York State. Everything that we do is mission driven and has purpose. Our support and care for those dealing with a serious illness impacts entire families during a very intimate time in a person's life. It is rewarding and truly meaningful work as we remain committed to our core values of excellence, respect, advocacy and empowerment in all that we do.
