Catholic Charities' FLX Gives Campaign kicks off with a 24-hour push to raise $5,000 for our Foreclosure Prevention Program, which provides rescue grants, lender negotiation, and vital support to families across Chemung, Schuyler, Tompkins, and Tioga counties. These critical dollars will fund immediate rescue grants for homeowners on the brink of losing their homes, allowing them breathing room while our team of HUD Certified Housing Counselors step in to negotiate with lenders on their behalf. Neighbors, businesses, and friends are all invited to give what they can—every contribution brings us closer to keeping families safe under their own roofs.

Serving more than 150 households each year across all 4 counties, our program offers a lifeline through emergency funds, personalized lender negotiations, and stress-relief counseling to ease the fear of foreclosure. By rallying together for this one-day push, we can protect stability, restore hope, and prove that when a community unites, no family has to face foreclosure alone.
