Tanglewood Nature Center FLXGives Campaign

The mission of Tanglewood Nature Center is to lead and support education and preservation efforts in our region, fostering a deep awareness, understanding, and appreciation for our natural world. Tanglewood has come a long way since our beginnings as a small cabin on Elmira Water Board land. Today, we’re a vibrant hub for environmental education, and with your help, we’re expanding into the future with projects like the Canopy Walkway, offering visitors a unique perspective of our local ecosystem.

Welcome to Tanglewood Nature Center's FLXGives campaign! This year, your support can fuel our growth in exciting ways. We’re raising funds for three key areas:

  1. Comfortable Travel and Enrichment for Our Animal Ambassadors: Tanglewood’s animal ambassadors travel frequently to bring the wonders of nature to communities across New York and Pennsylvania. This year, we’re aiming to purchase new travel containers to ensure a comfortable journey for these vital education programs.
  2. Enhanced Enclosures: Our reptiles and amphibians play a key role in educating visitors of all ages about the natural world. We’re dedicated to enhancing their enclosures to provide spacious, enriching, and engaging habitats. Your support will help us create ideal homes for our reptiles, ensuring they thrive and continue to inspire curiosity and respect for wildlife.
  3.  Improving Our Staff’s Workspace: Our staff works tirelessly to make Tanglewood a special place. By updating our office with new chairs and resources, we’ll create a workspace that reflects the dedication and care we bring to every visitor and every animal in our care.

Every donation brings us closer to these goals, fostering a vibrant environment for our visitors and wildlife. Learn more about our work at www.tanglewoodnaturecenter.com.
