The Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc. is pleased to partner with local foundations, companies, small businesses, and individuals to offer a wide array of prizes focusing on donor activation and retention, peer-to-peer fundraising, social media storytelling, randomized drawings, and supporting grassroots organizations.
Prize winners will be automatically displayed during the live event. Awarded prizes are subject to audit and will be finalized up to seven days following the event (including the re-allocating of prizes in the event of a multi-winning organization).

Prize Rules
- Gifts made online via flxgives.org from 6:00PM ET on November 13, 2025 through 6:59:59AM ET on November 14, 2025 will count toward prizes for FLX Gives 2025, unless otherwise noted. Please see individual prize descriptions for specific details pertaining to prize time, prize categories, and prize amount.
- Participating organizations may accept gifts by check or cash and upload them onto the FLX Gives platform. These will count towards the organization’s overall gift and donor totals but will not count towards prizes or leaderboards.
- The FLX Gives Prize Pool is provided as a means to incentivize and reward organization participation in the fundraising challenge. In an effort to provide a more equitable Prize Pool, there are restrictions on how many prizes can be won by an individual organization:
- Specific Prizes: Organizations may not win more than one Golden Giveaway or Good Things Come in Threes prizes.
- Most Donor Prizes: In the category of "Most Donors" prizes, organizations will not win more than 1 of these prizes. In the event an organization has the most donors for a second time, the prize will be awarded to the next eligible organization. EXCEPTION: An organization may win the Grand Prize as well as one of the Most Donor Prizes.
- Total Prizes Winnings: An organization’s total prize money will not exceed $1,500. If an organization qualify for a prize that will exceed $1,500, they will be awarded the prize of the highest value and the additional prize will be awarded to the next qualifying participant. EXCEPTION: The Grand Prize does NOT take into account win limit amount.
- Prize winners will be automatically displayed during the live event. Awarded prizes are subject to audit and will be finalized up to seven days following the event (including the re-allocating of prizes in the event of a multi-winning organization). Community Foundation will distribute prize money once a final review has taken place and all prize winners have been verified. Money will be paid out after the giving day concludes.
- Prizes may be revoked or withheld if donations can’t be validated, including falsifying donor email addresses or matches.
- Fairness in determining prize winners is very important to the Community Foundation. Our platform identifies "unique donors" by reviewing a combination of donor names, email, and mailing addresses.
- Prize money will not account for your FLX Gives total or be displayed on the leaderboard.
- In the event of a tie, the prize will be divided.
- Grand Prizes will consider donations made on FLXgives.org during early and post-giving times. Grand prizes only take into account online donations and win limits are disregarded for this prize.
