Jim E's Campaign: Raising Funds for River Friends

I am very proud of the work that we do at River Friends.  For a small non-profit we get a lot accomplished.  Yes, we do many cleanups every year and remove tons of trash from the riverside but we're about more than that. This year, for example, we purchased 6 new kayaks and used them for guided floats on the Chemung and also to educate several groups of young kids about safe operation of a kayak.  We also gave out free life vests as part of our program to promote safe, responsible use of the watershed.  The Chemung and its tributaries are a great place to enjoy boating, fishing, birding and just getting out to appreciate nature.  I hope you will donate so we can continue our important work.
