The Nonnie Hood Parent Resource Center is excited to participate in 2024 FLXGives!

It’s been a busy, exciting, and rewarding year as we’ve continued to see familiar faces and welcome new visitors. In 2023, we reached a total attendance of 13,750. This year, we're on track to surpass that record-breaking number of visitors! The newly renovated art center is a hub of creative expression for PRC children. Imaginative play with dress-ups, baby dolls, dinosaurs, and STEM activities continues to engage young hearts and minds. Play-Doh is a time-honored daily activity and many children keep their personal containers labeled with their name to use during their regular visits. For those who may be wondering, Play-Doh still smells like you remember. The recipe has remained largely unchanged since 1956!

While we’re thrilled to see the community enjoying the PRC and taking part in our many programs, the increase in attendance also brings financial challenges. Higher costs in several areas require the PRC to engage in community-based fundraising to support our vibrant, bustling center. Funds raised through FLXGives will be essential to equip the PRC to meet this new, exciting reality and sustain our mission to help families with young children play, learn, and connect with others in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

We are so grateful for your support and look forward to creating even more joyful memories with you at the PRC!
