I’m excited to share that Nonnie Hood PRC will participate in FLX Gives on November 12–13. This 24‑hour online event is a great opportunity to support safety, accessibility, and technology improvements in our Welcome Desk area.
My PRC story began in 1996, when I moved to the area with a one‑year‑old and another baby on the way. The PRC quickly became a place where I found connection, support, and meaningful early childhood experiences for my growing family. Those early years shaped my belief in the power of community for parents and children.
Today, as Executive Director since 2020—and now a grandparent to two PRC children—I’m proud to help carry forward the mission that once supported me. I’m fundraising because the PRC has been part of my family’s life for nearly three decades, and I want every family to feel the same welcome and belonging.
