Banners & Billboards!

The Family Reading Partnership of the Chemung Valley wants to make one simple message visible throughout our community: Read to Me.

Our Banners and Billboards initiative brings the importance of reading with children beyond libraries, schools, and our programs and puts that message directly into the community. Through banners and billboards placed throughout the Chemung Valley, we can remind parents, grandparents, caregivers, and community members that reading with a child can happen any time and any place.

These displays help us reach thousands of people, including families who may not yet be familiar with the Family Reading Partnership or our programs. A simple reminder to “Read to Me” can encourage families to pick up a book, tell a story, talk about pictures, and make reading together part of their everyday routines.

Your donation will help cover the cost of producing and displaying Read to Me banners and billboards throughout our community. The more support we receive, the more locations we can reach and the more families who will see this important message.

Our goal is to create a community where children are surrounded by reminders that reading matters, not only in the classroom, but everywhere they go.
