I joined the board of this local gem after it acquired our local daycare and brought so much to our community. They saved us last year by fitting more children (including Henry) into their existing space when mold remediation closed the second center for months. He thrived in pre-k when they moved into the new (mold-free!) building. Help me match my personal donation so more families can experience this amazing center too.

The Corning Children’s Center provides early care and education for more than 300 local children across two locations. We need your help to continue ensuring that families of all means, especially those facing financial challenges, can access high-quality, affordable childcare. Please consider donating today.

Over our 40 years, the Corning Children’s Center has cultivated an inclusive, creative, and supportive community. Our trained staff guide children through a learn-through-play curriculum, preparing them for their next developmental milestones. A sliding-fee scale and assistance program means we welcome families from all socioeconomic levels. Currently, tuition covers only 65% of our operating costs, and we must raise the remaining 35% through donations, grants, and fundraising events. 

Donations will go to supporting a variety of Center materials and operations, such as: 

  1. Educational Programs: expanded curriculum with more opportunities to explore and learn through play. 

  2. Safe and Welcoming Environment: building operations and security. 

  3. Quality Resources: materials, books, and learning tools for early childhood development. 

  4. Outdoor Play Areas: spaces where children can play, explore nature, and build social skills.
