Why I’m Supporting the Corning Children’s Center:

The Corning Children’s Center provides early care and education for more than 300 local children across two Centers, welcoming families of all means through a sliding-fee scale. The tuition that families pay only covers 65% of what it takes to operate, so community support is essential to ensuring that we can provide high quality care and enriching opportunities, while still keeping care affordable.

My connection to the Corning Children’s Center runs deep — my mom has been part of the team for more than half my life. When they had it, I was enrolled in the Center’s school-age program as a child, and later, during my college breaks, I worked as a substitute teacher assistant. Now, as part of the team myself, I get to see every day just how special this place truly is.

I adore the kiddos and love watching them learn and grow. The Center’s culture reflects my own values of curiosity, creativity, and community — values that if you stop to look, you can see in every classroom. Our teachers nurture children’s natural curiosity as a foundation for learning, and the enrichment opportunities here are a unique piece of the Center that you don't find everywhere.
