Give With Your Whole Heart to Hospice: Supporting the Body, Mind, & Spirit
This year, the CareFirstNY staff is divided into three fundraising teams—Body, Mind, and Spirit—each representing a different aspect of the comprehensive care we provide.

Support Team Body: Providing Physical Comfort & Practical Needs 💙
Team Body focuses on the physical care and practical support that allows hospice patients to live comfortably and with dignity. We're raising funds to support skilled nursing, pain management, medical equipment, and care supplies for patients, as well as the social work support that helps families navigate practical needs, paperwork, and funding.

Your gift to Team Body supports:

• Skilled nursing and pain management so patients can remain at home.

• Medical equipment and supplies, including items not always covered by insurance, such as hospital beds, mobility aids, and comfort items.

• Social worker support to help families navigate practical needs, funding, and paperwork.

• Nutritional support and daily living assistance to help patients stay comfortable and well cared for.

• Volunteer support for errands, companionship, and respite for caregivers.

• Financial assistance for patients who are under- or uninsured.
